What do you think is the role of a mentor: A mentor is someone who provides guidance and support to a mentee based on their needs. She will share with a mentee information about her career path as well as provide guidance, motivation, any form of support and role modelling.

Why do you want to be a GirlEng mentor: I’d like to be a GirlEng mentor so as firstly to attract young ladies to this exciting yet unique industry. To provide awareness about the industry to learners, while sharing my experiences and knowledge so that they in turn get motivated to enter this field of engineering. To answer any questions about the field the girls may have so as to make their journey of choosing engineering an easier process as I will be sharing a skill I already have. To help a young person succeed is very rewarding; hence I decided to be a mentor to contribute to a cause I really care about.

Words to live by: The 3D’s - Discipline, Desire, Dedication. With Discipline, Desire, and Dedication, you can attain any goal you set in life.
