Apply to be a WomEng Intern for 2016
WomEng operates in South Africa and Kenya and will be expanding its reach to other countries across the globe. We are looking to recruit 5 interns to be based in the Cape Town office to work on the WomEng flagship program, Fellowship Week.
The WomEng Fellowship is for the best and brightest female engineering students to find engineering solutions to global challenges in order to develop and prepare for industry. WomEng Fellows are given the opportunity to attend business and entrepreneurial upscaling workshops, meet sponsors and potential employers as well as network with their peers and industry members in engineering to engage in pertinent topics affecting the engineering industry.
The internships are unpaid positions with a 6-month commitment. All the interns will be expected to stay in the hotel during the Fellowship Week, 4-8 July 2016, along with the top engineers in South Africa. Ideal interns would be working on the following activities:
2. Events Coordinator
4. Research and Writing
5. Technical Challenge Facilitor (must have an engineering degree)
