As women in engineering, it is vital that we do not lose ourselves or conform to any pre-conceived notion of what a good engineer is. It is also essential that we stand out and do not sacrifice our femininity to please the masses on our journey to being an engineer. We need to celebrate every aspect of our lives and SAWomENG is a platform that encourages those principles! I am truly excited to be a part of that.
